Ingredients:
2 c elbow macaroni noodles uncooked
1 tbsp beef base or bouillon
2 15 oz. cans of diced tomatoes (one petite diced)
4 cloves garlic minced
1 large onion diced
3 tbsp soy sauce
3 c water
2 lbs. ground beef
2 15 oz. cans of tomato sauce
1 c cheddar cheese shredded
2 tsp paprika
1 tbsp Seasoned salt
3 bay leaves
2 tbsp Italian Seasoning
Fresh Italian parsley chopped
1/2 tsp black pepper
Directions:
Add a large pot on the stove and turn the heat to medium.
Add the ground beef, then cook until crumbly and brown. Discard the accumulated grease and leave about 2 tbsp of it in the pot.
Add the garlic and sauté until aromatic.
Add the onions and sauté until soft.
Add the canned tomatoes, soy sauce, tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, bay leaves, water, beef base, paprika, seasoned salt, and black pepper. Stir until well blended. Allow the mixture to boil.
Turn the heat down to low and simmer the mixture for 20 minutes.
Add the noodles and cover the pot. Cook the noodles for about 15 minutes or until firm to bite or al dente. Make sure to stir from time to time to prevent from sticking.
Add the cheese, then stir until melted completely.
Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
