I love how simple yet delicious these Bacon-wrapped Chicken pieces! Oh, man, you have got to bite your teeth into these juicy and crispy treats from heaven! Ingredients:
Seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder I used garlic granules, can use fresh minced garlic too
1 ½ tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp cayenne pepper or use chilli flakes or substitute with more smoked paprika
1 ½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp salt
1 tsp pepper freshly ground
Chicken
4 chicken breast or use thin chicken tender cuts or large chicken thighs
8 strips bacon thick ⅛ inch strips are best, regular ones can be used too
¼ c brown sugar feel free to adjust quantity as per YOUR taste preference
Garnish
Fresh parsley
Directions:
Add smoked paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, cayenne, onion powder, salt, and pepper into a mixing bowl. Whisk until well combined.
Season all sides of the chicken breasts with 1/2 of the mixed seasonings.
Wrap each chicken breast with one or two bacon slices.
Place them onto a baking dish and arrange them on the bottom.
Sprinkle the rest of the brown sugar spice over on top of the wrapped chicken slices.
Prepare the oven and preheat to 190 degrees C or 375 degrees F.
Place them inside the preheated oven and bake for about 30 minutes or until done.
Broil for another 2 minutes or until they become crispy.
Remove the bacon-wrapped chicken from the oven and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
